.547" large bore trombone leadpipe testing kit. Try before you buy! We will ship you these leadpipes for a 1 week trial period for testing. The price includes the cost of a new raw brass leadpipe (in seamless yellow brass, we can of course upgrade your order to a different material after your trial), a small rental fee, and shipping both ways (a return label will be included in the shipment). Once the kit is returned, we will fabricate you a new leadpipe of your choosing!

Kit includes the following leadpipes:

VG - like Mt. Vernon Bach

 TG - the newest taper, a blend of characteristics from several different leadpipes

 G -a cousin of the RG, even blow across all registers, better for sections

 RG - broad, orchestral sound with a fast response, great for soloists

 88H - like vintage Conn, wide and open blowing
